SHARE mourns the death of Joris Voskuilen
Berlin, January 15, 2024. The entire SHARE family is deeply saddened by the sudden death of Joris Voskuilen who passed away on January 5th 2024, at the age of 61.
Joris Voskuilen represented the Netherlands on the SHARE-ERIC Council since 2018. As Dutch Delegate to the Council, he made considerable contributions to the successful development of SHARE as a leading research infrastructure in the social sciences. With his passing, we have lost a highly valued, active, and dedicated member of the SHARE-ERIC Council. Our time spent together and the work he contributed to SHARE will be remembered fondly and with great appreciation.
Our most heartfelt condolences go out to his family, his friends and his colleagues at the Dutch Research Council (NWO) during this difficult time. He will be sorely missed and we will honour his memory.
